International Paper Development Workshops
As part of its commitment to internationalization, the OMT Division co-sponsors paper development workshops with universities and journals around the world. Below is a summary of upcoming and past events.
January 13-14, 2016 - Rotterdam, The Netherlands. Co-Sponsors: OMT, Academy of Management Review, Erasmus Research Institute of Management (ERIM)
The broad theme of the workshop is on developing and writing strong theory, as this relates to theory papers as well as the theoretical contribution and theoretical implications for empirical papers.
October 29-30, 2015 - Warsaw, Poland. Co-Sponsors: OMT, EGOS, Organization Studies
Hosted at the University of Warsaw, this event seeks to provide developmental opportunities for late stage PhD students and early career scholars who are based in Central and Eastern Europe and do research in the field of organizational and management studies.

This developmental workshop is intended to facilitate the publication of empirical research in quality outlets by doctoral students and faculty members. The broad theme of the workshop is on "explaining change", with primary emphasis on research methods and connection between theory and data.

Professional Development Workshop on 'Getting Published in Top Tier Journals: Guidance and Insights from Officers of the AOM OMT Division'. This workshop will be held in conjunction with the IACMR Conference in Beijing and is intended for advanced doctoral students and junior faculty residing at institutions within China who are interested in learning about how to overcome significant barriers to publishing in top-tier journals.

Paper Development Workshop on Organizational and Institutional Change. This workshop offers an opportunity for early career scholars to develop their ongoing work related to organizational and/or institutional change.
